The Code of Honor: (Conduct)

Residents agree to uphold to dignity of all members, regardless of rank, service branch, or background.

Conflict Resolution:

Disputes are handled directly and professionally. if a resolution can not be reached, the “command council” (resident board) may be asked to mediate.

Integrity of the Space:

Use of common areas is a shared privilege. Leaving a space better than you found it is the standard.

Operational Readiness (Safety & Maintenance)

Unit Inspection:

“Self-Inspections” are encouraged monthly to ensure smoke detectors and appliances are functional. Staff “Safety checks” are scheduled with 48-hour notice, respecting the veteran’s privacy.

Fire & Safety:

No open flames (candles/incense) in units. Smoking is restricted to the “Observation deck” (designated outdoor area}.

Quiet Hours (Tactical Silence):

To ensure all members can “recharge, “quiet hours are observed from 2200 to 0700.

Deployment (Travel ) Notifications:

If a resident will be “off-base residents” for more than 48 hours, they are encouraged to notify the desk so mail can be held and wellness checks paused.

The Formation (Community Engagement):

The Mess Hall (Dining):

While dining is a social opportunity, it is not a requirement. Residents are encouraged to “break bread” with the community at least once a week to maintain social ties.

Monthly Briefings:

A community meeting is held once a month to discuss upgrades, budget, and activities. Attendance is optional but encoraged to ensure every voice is heard. 

Zero Tolerance Policy:

Violence/Threats:

Any physical altercation or credible threat of violence is grounds for immediate “Discharge” from the community.

Illegal Activity:

Possession of illegal substances on-site is strictly prohibited to protect the recovery and peace of fellow residents.

Conflict Resolution:

If an issue arises with a resident, we encourage a direct, “person-to-person” talk first. If the situation requires mediation, the Resident Command Council is available to assist.

The Golden Rule:

Leave every common area-the lounge, the outside area -better than you found it.

Operational Readiness (Safety & Unit Care)

To keep the community secure and functional, we observe the following SOPs:

Safety Checks:

We do not do “white glove” inspections, However, for your safety, staff will perform a quick functional check of smoke detectors and appliances quarterly, you will receive a 48-hour “Heads up” before we enter.

Smoke-Free Interior:

Smoking or vaping is permitted only in the designated “observation deck” (outdoor patio).

Tactical Silence (Quiet Hours)

Everyone deserves a solid night’s sleep. We observe Tactical Silence from 2200 0700 hours.

  • During this time, please keep TV volumes low and avoid high-activity chores (like heavy cleaning or loud drills) that might disturb other residents
  • Note: There are no 0500 bugle calls here. Your morning is your own.
